It is finished in silver with painted orange stripes over black and gray leather and powered by an Oldsmobile-based quad-cam 4.0-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. Features include a black soft top, pushrod suspension, carbon-fiber bodywork, 18″ wheels, air conditioning, Borla mufflers, and a Monsoon CD/cassette stereo.

The Series 1 was designed by Shelby American and was manufactured at the company’s facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. The carbon-fiber and fiberglass laminate bodywork is mounted on an aluminum chassis. The car is finished in silver and features orange stripes, a black soft top, front fog lamps, a heat extractor hood, dual-outlet exhaust, and fender vents.

The Oldsmobile-sourced 4.0-liter Aurora L47 V8 features carbon fiber covers and intake tubing, Borla stainless steel headers, and a Shelby-specific engine management system and camshafts. The engine was factory rated at 320 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque.
